Our History

Sunflower Nursery School opened in 1993 with the first setting in Ash Vale and a second setting at the St. John Ambulance hall, Ash Vale, opened in 1999.

A few years ago Claire and Tanya had the opportunity of taking over the business and with over 20 years nursery education experience between them, became the new owners of Sunflower Nursery in 2008.

The setting at the Methodist Church then moved to Ash Football and Social Club, were we were based for two and a half years.

Through Ash Parish Council, we then got the opportunity to move from the Football Club to the old Scout Hut at Harpers Recreation Ground, and this has been our new home since September 2010.
